Ooops, I haven't logged on to DA for a really long time! Wow, I am neglecting my hobbies. The only thing I am still doing regularly is watching a few anime series. I miss all the awesome art. I have 1025 images to go through, can't wait! I still have photos that I took at A-kon that I need to process (and promised I'll give to someone). On the photography front, I got a DSLR and am learning all about using it. And thank goodness for bracketing! Now at least there's a 33% chance that a picture will come out. Before there was a lot of fail with the point and shoot. XD Also, I have to say the Olympics this year is WIN.

So this is pretty cool, from April 16th to 25th, I'll be in Taiwan doing 'stuff'! It all came about suddenly, I originally was going to Shanghai and Suzhou for a tour with some family members from Taiwan, but that seems to have fallen through because some people got ill. So instead of that, I bought some tickets to Taiwan just a few days ago. Surprising they didn't get too expensive ($~1000) even though the flight was in less than a month.

So now I am planning activities for those 8 days. (The int. dateline changes the days around). I'll definitely be spending some time with relatives in Taiwan and hanging out with my cousins. They also requested that I bring some cereal (Honey Bunches of Oats). Did you know that cereal in Asia is a 'luxury' item?!? You can't buy it at a grocery store, but only at a high end store! How funny is that! Besides that, I am planning on doing some backpacking across the country. This is the first time I'll be doing this without any friends, so it'll be a bit scary, but I am excited! The last time I was in Taiwan was 17 years ago. Looks like it's time I brush up on Chinese!

So... after reading about how great Okami is all over the web, I finally got myself one from BestBuy! However, this wasn't just an ordinary purchase! I never owned a PS2 (beside the one that I owned briefly for 'profiteering'), so I also bought a PS2 and a memory card.

Let me just say, what the hell have I been missing all these time without a PS2!?

There. Oh, and Okami is really a good game! It's funny, good game play, and great story.
Everyone should play it!

Lastly, I have set up importing of my journal entries from DeviantArt into facebook. So this note should show up there any minute now...

Wow, it's snowing in Lubbock! Doesn't happen very often so it's pretty cool. Now I wonder how bad traffic is going to be tomorrow... I predict 2 snow related accident tomorrow. >.>
